Shoulder Warm Up

  • Stand straight feet hip width apart and draw belly button in towards spine
  • Take hold a towel, arms remaining straight keep the towel taut
  • Draw arms from in front of you and up over your head to behind your back
  • Keep arms straight, though don't lock out
  • Keep shoulders relaxed and don't poke the head forward or arch back. Keep body in alignment and bellybutton in
  • Repeat several times back and forth until you feel shoulders become more mobilised
  • Bring hands slightly closer together if necessary

Surfing Benefit:

Good chest stretch and Mobilise / stretches the shoulders. Good warm up before you paddle out and go and have some fun!
