Alternate Arm / Leg Lift on Swiss Ball (superman's)

Level: Beginners
- Keep the movement slow and controlled
- Life one arm and opposite leg
- Only lift to the position shown being careful not to hyper extend the lumbar spine (lower back).
- Do not tilt the hips or lean into the shoulder of your resting hand
- Ensure you activate TVA (draw belly button towards spine) and keep a neutral cervical spine (neck)
- Hold the top position for 3-10 seconds while trying to keep absolutely still
- Perform the exercise until you fatigue or until you cannot maintain perfect technique
Why this exercise
Good for working the spinal stabilisers. Great if you have left to right imbalances or a weak back.
